A pleasant surprise at SGH ward 46A

I went down with some friends this evening to visit a female friend, Ms K (this is the first time I'm meeting her) at SGH. She had both schizophrenia and eating disorders, but according to her, hallucination was the main reason why she was admitted.

As we were talking, I casually looked around and somehow managed to spot a few letters making up a familiar name, above a bed opposite diagonally opposite of Ms K.

I asked for the lady with that name and Ms K pointed to a lady arranging something opposite a bed near the door.

I went up to the girl and it turned out to be...

Belle! OMG!

I mentioned my name and she looked stunned, as if she didn't remember me at all. I waited for a few seconds, before she finally recalled who I was. (felt a little disappointed that I was forgotten so easily, but well, that's life. LOL.)

I'm not sure if she mentioned it in jest or whatever, but she said, even if I were to post about her admission, nobody from depnet would come to visit her.

Well, belle, if you are reading this, I wish to let you know, if you are willing to share, to reach out, some people down here will respond.

For example, I could have ignored my suspicion that you were in the same room as Ms K after seeing your name. I could have waited for you to notice me and call out to me. But I didn't.

Even if no one here comes to visit you, at least you would already have shared something about yourself to others. The rest is up to your God and their own free-will, according to Christian faith.

Take care, belle. Hope you will get discharged soon. ^_^

I don't really know and I don't wish to judge when I know little about eating disorders. But I guess if it's hospital admission, it should be something serious as deemed so by the doctors.
