Specialist referral

If you would like to be treated by a psychiatrist, you should ask your family doctor for a referral letter. Both polyclinic doctors and private general practitioners can issue these letters. If you are already being treated by a specialist for other medical conditions, you may also ask the doctor to refer you to a psychiatrist.
