I'm stuck in looking for jobs.

My family wants me to look for accounting job as I study account in poly.

I don't think I have much choice to choose what job I want to do. :(

In that case, make the best of it. If you thrive in the job, that's great. If not, you can always take small steps to move in a different direction. You always have a choice.

Best of luck, gal!

hi sad girl, i rem reading your previous post.. you mentioned you have interest in accounting but am afraid of the stress.. if possible try to do something relevant to what you major, its specialized in a way, if its not suitable after trying you can always move on in a different field..

i majored in logistics have been in it for a couple of years and decided to change few mths ago, well im not good at stress management too that's why ended up depressed few yrs back and now stress mgt still not too good in my current job.. the learning curve is not easy and its normal to feel stress.. you have a choice over what you want to do.. your family may not alw knw what is good for you, dun follow expectations blindly, you live for yourself, do what you think is best for you..

anyway to an employer its just a diploma in a certain discipline, you will still get the salary you deserved even for a diploma grad even when you are not doing a job similar to what you major in..

you can continue to send your resume for jobs you think you may like at e same time.. dun worry too much, take the job as it comes, it might not be as bad as you think.. as a junior staff i dun think much is expected of you, juz do your best.. Jia you!
